You’re awesome, my son
You truly are.
As I watch you
I see you
React in such a way
That He, who is near you
Would be happy this day.
Your kindness, your goodness,
Is so often felt,
In things that you say
In things that you do.
This morning
As I watched you
Care for your fellowmen,
Brought tears to my eyes
By something you did.
As I saw you remove something
From the road
That could hurt another passerby,
You returned there to do it
Taking time as you went by,
So that somehow you’d bless
“Another’s” day.
Unknowingly then,
You did what your Master would do,
Helping to make another’s life safer
From that simple act of kindness, by you.
I watched you then,
So pleased, so touched by you.
You’re awesome, my son
In all that you do
Your Father in Heaven
Is so pleased with you.
The kindness you share with others
The things that you do
Help keep you in tune
To all that is true.
You’re filling your mission
In small acts of kindness
By the things that you say,
By the things that you do,
True to your Father
In all that you do.
Your fine example
Is noticed , It’s real
Others can feel you.
Your kindness,
Your goodness,
By how you live life and by Just the way you are.
And all that I can say now
Today and forever
Is that I feel honored
To be called;
Your “Mother“.
Love, mom
