You know, there is a love beyond compare,
that everyone for each other can share
and that is Christ-like love.
If everyone had this kind of love,
what a simply beautiful place this would be,
for each one would be,
just as they ought to be,
cause they would be living
the law of charity.
Each one would love
because of the shear joy of it,
making each day all the brighter.
If no one would worry and say,
oh I think they like me,
so I’d better beware,
for they might want me, too.
But, instead,
if we could all be friends
and share the love of Jesus Christ,
and love someone
just because
he or she is a child of God,
and for no other reason than that,
and for no need of gain,
what a great world this would be.
If people would smile
with a genuine love
for each person
whom they passed by,
people would feel uplifted and loved,
from the simple fact
that they can feel
like they are thought of
in a special way,
just because
they are a child of God.
If people
would not mistake
this beautiful Christ-like love,
how happy they really could be.
Focusing, enriching and garnishing
any other kind of love there is,
by first developing
this sweet Christ-like love for all
adds fullness to all kinds of love.
If people would smile at strangers
and get a smile right back,
oh, how rewarding it would be.
Because the feeling
would be pure...
For they who love purely
in the simplest way
know that their love
is the kind
that the Savior also gave.
For Jesus, when he came here
upon the earth,
held no reservations
on how He gave his love,
so, why should we?
The gospel is a gospel of love;
in fact it is based
on this Christ-like love
of which I speak.
Spirituality, to me,
is made up of love,
Christ-like love.
It is given to everyone
and to everything,
people, animals, plants,
and to all of Gods creations.
For His light
is the life of the world
and everything which He created
is spirit too.
Spirituality
is being able to live
so as to radiate
this Christ-like love
in every facet of life.
It is the sweet gentleness
you have when dealing
with Gods creations.
It is the love
you have for someone
who is in want
of understanding
and of sympathy,
and of care.
It is even to be there
when a child is requiring correction,
it is the way
in which it is given.
Spirituality
is giving the Lord
all the goodness and credit
for anything good
that ever happens to you.
Christ-like love
and Spirituality
intertwine with each other.
If you have one quality,
the other one is also present.
One must be very mindful
every moment of his life
if he is to radiate
this Christ-like love
to his fellowmen.
It can be done,
if we are someday going to be
Celestial Beings in a Celestial World.
