Some say that love can be forever
and maybe it is.
Some say that love is endless
and maybe it is.
But sometimes, love isn’t forever
and sometimes it just doesn’t last.
Maybe there are things
that change in your life
That makes that forever love disappear.
Sometimes forever love
just doesn’t last,
Sometimes, you just merely exist.
When hurts fill your life,
There is left no more bliss,
And love seems to fade far away.
That’s when you know
that forever’s not true,
for those who are like you.
Forever’s a dream, when it comes to love,
A dream only a few can think of.
It just doesn’t happen to everyone,
It happens to people so rare.
Just realize that some things for some,
are not the forever kind.
These thoughts may be felt,
as we’re here in this life.
But in knowing that heaven is near,
Aspirations are soothing,
and we can be sure,
That someday we can hope for
a love that is true.
Hold fast to that forever kind of dream.
For someday our Father will grant us our wish
to be with our forever kind of LOVE.
Some day it can happen to all who yearn
to be with our Soul mate true.
